Head of Marketing – Gaming (m/f/d)
Düsseldorf, Germany
PLAYT.net AG is the technology driver behind the next evolution of casual mobile gaming. Our multiplayer meta-platform combines innovation, entertainment and competition to create a groundbreaking gaming experience. With the vision “eSports for everyone”, we offer exciting real-time head-to-head matches and tournaments that turn single-player casual games into interactive highlights. We bring players together through fair, value-adding competitions – and offer real added value: from digital tournaments to real prizes.
Our partner studios and developers also benefit from our platform as we help them to better market and monetize their games. Together, we are revolutionizing how casual games are played, experienced and shared.
Are you ready to redefine marketing and shape a global brand?
We are looking for someone who thrives on innovation and drives change. As part of our dynamic team, you will market our meta-platform to millions of users worldwide – and help shape the future of mobile gaming.
You are not only responsible for our marketing – you are the architect behind the PLAYT.net brands. Your vision and creativity shape how millions of players experience our platform. Together, we are creating a brand that not only inspires, but also introduces a new era of casual gaming.
What you can expect:
- Vision in action: Develop go-to-market campaigns that make our mission “eSports for everyone” internationally tangible – with courage, innovation and a clear focus on impact.
- Shaping growth: Your data-driven strategies will make our brand, Clash Paradise, the preferred platform for fair and exciting gaming.
- Build community: You connect players through emotional experiences and bring innovation to the big stages – digital and real.
- Inspire & lead: Be the driving force in a creative team that thinks big and pursues ambitious goals.
Who you are:
We’re not looking for just anyone – we’re looking for you, a person with exceptional drive to turn our vision into reality and take PLAYT.net to the next level.
Experience and Expertise:
- Scale-up mentality: You have experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments – ideally as a marketing leader in a fast-growing casual gaming company. For you, entrepreneurial thinking and pragmatic action go hand in hand.
- Growth expertise: Proven success in scaling platforms or products, especially in or with the help of the gaming-relevant marketing environment.
- Performance Marketing professional: You are a master in data-driven marketing, but you are also familiar with the entire range of other marketing disciplines in addition to performance marketing.
- Analytical genius: You are data-driven, love analyzing metrics and know how to translate KPIs into growth.
- Creative & strategic: You bring a unique mix of creative ideas and strategic thinking – and implement them with excellent precision.
Technical Skills:
- Tools at your fingertips: Experience with modern event-based marketing and analytics solutions.
- Content skills: You know how to develop strong, converting messages that inspire the target group.
- German & english: Fluent in both languages – written and verbal.
Soft Skills & Mindset:
- Hands-on mentality: you are a doer who solves problems independently instead of waiting for external help.
- High resilience: You thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and see challenges as opportunities.
- Excellent communication: You can convey complex ideas easily and convincingly – whether to your team, management or external partners.
- Collaborative leader: You support your team and motivate them to deliver top performance. At the same time, you are not afraid to temporarily take on operational tasks yourself if necessary.
What doesn’t suit us:
- Pure strategists are not enough for us: We are looking for a person who thinks strategically as well as implements operationally – no pure management of an external agency, unless it brings real added value. Our goal is to build a strong team, in which you will increasingly work strategically, provide impetus and drive growth.
- Rigid mindset: You are flexible, pragmatic and can adapt quickly to new circumstances.
- Dependence on external resources: You can achieve results even if an unlimited budget or additional external teams are not always available.
- Ownership & upside: With us, you are not just an employee – you are a co-creator. In addition to performance-related remuneration, we offer you real company shares (stocks) to ensure you benefit directly from our joint success.
- Maximum impact: You take on a key role in a fast-growing company and actively shape the future of PLAYT.net. Your ideas have an impact – on us, on the industry and on millions of players.
- Excellence & team spirit: Our team consists of curious, passionate and courageous individuals. Here you will meet like-minded people who want to achieve as much as you do – and who are ready to achieve remarkable things.
- Agile working: With Scrum and the freedom to work flexibly, we combine efficiency and flexibility. Our centrally located office with roof terrace is always open to you.
- Sport & health: We believe in team play – not just at work. Whether it’s yoga, soccer or subsidized fitness offers – we also support you outside the office.
- Personal growth: Use digital learning platforms, personal skilling groups or our Open Fridays to grow. We not only offer you space, but also the resources to achieve your goals.
- Celebrate and network: We celebrate successes together – with monthly events and legendary parties, you will quickly become part of our unique network.
- Top-level career: We trust you, give you freedom and enable you to take on management responsibility. Your career is just as big as your ambitions.
